María Jesús has been an associate of our firm since 2021. 

She specializes in advising national and international clients on corporate and civil matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and debt restructuring, capital markets, insurance, new business development, and civil and commercial contracting. Among the clients she has advised are public limited companies, subsidiaries of multinational corporations, and local entities engaged in technology, telecommunications, goods distribution, food and beverage, alcohol, transportation and logistics, retail, and healthcare services, among others.

In corporate and real estate matters, she has specialized in debt restructuring and the negotiation and drafting of complex contracts.

Additionally, María Jesús is the pro bono coordinator and a member of our office’s Marketing Committee.

• Advised América Móvil in the process of acquiring control of Claro Chile. América Móvil is a leading telecommunications service provider in Latin America.
• Advised a major group of healthcare service providers in the establishment of a second-tier insurance company.
• Advised Sony Music and CTS Eventim in the acquisition of 65% of Punto Ticket by their Joint Venture. Punto Ticket is the largest ticketing company in the country and also has a dominant presence in Peru.
• Advised national and international companies in debt and credit restructuring with suppliers, including payment in kind with real estate and units of real estate projects developed in various municipalities of Santiago.
• Advised various national companies on the issuance of debt securities.
• Advised WarnerMedia Chile in the sale of Chilevisión (Chilevisión) to ViacomCBS Network International.
• Advised Automotores Gildemeister in the financial restructuring process under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
