Lorena has specialized in the resolution of highly complex conflicts, with civil, commercial, environmental and criminal aspects.

Experience

Lorena has been an associate of our firm since 2016. Since then, she has specialized in dispute resolution, assuming the representation of national and international clients in litigation and arbitration.

She has participated in arbitrations related to complex contracts, in matters such as energy, SPAs and construction. In the field of litigation, she has experience in contractual and extra-contractual liability, including environmental, constitutional and industrial property disputes.

Regarding criminal liability and compliance, she has advised several companies in the design and implementation of prevention models. Additionally, she has led internal investigations and participated in criminal proceedings, both as plaintiff and defense.

  • Advising an international law firm as local counsel in an investment arbitration under ICSID rules.
  • Advising several transnational companies during the constitutional processes developed in 2022 and 2023 in Chile.
  • Advising a multinational mining company in environmental cases.
  • Represented one of the main fuel distributors in Chile in a local arbitration related to electromobility.
  • Represented a transnational energy company in several human rights cases.
  • Represented a multinational mining company in an arbitration concerning energy supply contracts. She has also represented other companies in arbitrations relating to SPAs and construction contracts.
  • Participated in other civil, commercial, criminal and environmental matters before ordinary courts, special courts, including the Constitutional Court, and arbitration tribunals.
  • Advising the design and implementation of Crime Prevention Models, training. Advice on planning and conducting internal investigations.
