Daniel has been an associate of our firm since 2018 and has focused his practice in corporate, commercial, real estate and insurance law. He advises national and foreign clients in corporate and civil matters, financial market, merger and acquisition processes, corporate restructuring operations, matters related to retail business, protection of consumer rights, issuance and operation of credit, debit and prepaid cards and other banking and banking-insurance products, among others.

Additionally, he has regularly advised open stock corporations and other entities subject to the oversight of the Financial Market Commission, such as insurance and reinsurance companies and insurance brokers in various filings and applications before the Financial Market Commission and other public agencies.

• Continuous advice to an open stock corporation in its relationship with its shareholders and with the Financial Market Commission (Comisión para el Mercado Financiero).
• Advising a major retail company in developing its retail and real estate business, including the implementation of its marketplace platform and the relationship with its consumers and the public agencies that oversee its operation.
• Counselling a national bank and its banking subsidiaries in the development of its banking and insurance business, including the relationship with its consumers and the public agencies that oversee its operation.
• Review and negotiation of leasing contracts and commercial premises for important retail companies.
• Review and analysis of liability coverage for general liability, property damage, fire, aviation, and vessel and cargo liability insurance, including the review and underwriting of the corresponding policies for companies in various industries.
• Counselling an important group of health care companies in the incorporation of a second group insurance company.
