IBA / Mining Law Committee

We are pleased to announce that our mining partner, Carlos Pérez-Cotapos, has been appointed, along with Darrell Podowski, partner at Cassels, Brock & Blackwell, to co-chair the Mining Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), effective as of January 1st, 2025 through December 31st, 2027. The purpose of the IBA Mining Law Committee is to promote the exchange of information from different perspectives and to foster knowledge among committee members and individuals in this area in connection with the laws, practices and procedures affecting all mineral and mining related activities worldwide.
