Experience
Sebastián is a consulting lawyer at our firm, which he joined in 1982. He is mainly involved in providing legal advice on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and antitrust. He has represented numerous Chilean and foreign companies in the acquisition and takeover of companies in almost all sectors of the economy. He has extensive experience in the legal design of acquisitions and/or sales of companies, preparing the documentation for these operations, shareholders’ agreements, and the other documents related to such operations. He has also participated in numerous initial public offerings (IPO), and in placements of corporates shares and bonds in the United States and other developed markets. In addition, Sebastian regularly represents clients when filing submittals and applications before the Superintendence of Securities, the Competition Court and the Internal Revenue Service.
