Experience

Geo has been an associate of our firm since 2022. He has also worked as a research associate at the Center for Water Law and Management of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

He advises national and foreign clients on water, environmental and energy matters. In particular, he has focused his practice on issues related to the processing of permits before the authorities, sanctioning procedures, challenging administrative acts, energy storage and water litigation. Geo has also participated in various due diligence processes.

Relevant experience:

  • Advised a major water users organization in multiple administrative procedures and lawsuits against the General Water Directorate.
  • Reviewed and regularized water rights for a variety of national and international companies.
  • Advice to a power generation company on the regulatory regime for energy storage.
