Simona has been part of the firm since 2018. Her practice mainly covers the resolution of disputes before ordinary and special courts. In this context, she has participated in several litigations linked to contractual liability, corporate conflicts, sanctioning procedures and environmental litigation.

As part of the Compliance team, she has participated in the design and implementation of Crime Prevention Models in accordance with Law 20.393, as well as in the creation of protocols and policies required by the Financial Analysis Unit. In addition, she has led several internal investigations and advised multiple companies in the assessment of criminal risks.

• Advised a multinational mining company in socio-environmental disputes, including representation before environmental courts.
• Representation of one of the main fuel distributors in Chile in a local arbitration related to electromobility.
• Representation of a multinational mining company in an arbitration proceeding related to energy supply contracts.
• Representing national and multinational companies in lawsuits related to unfair competition in the retail and service provision industries.
• Representation of global media and entertainment company as well as several telecommunications service providers in a civil and criminal dispute in connection with intellectual and industrial property issues.
• Representation of regulated companies in administrative sanctioning proceedings before the Financial Market Commission and the Environmental Superintendency.
• Advising and representing different actors of the health system in various jurisdictional proceedings, including actions of a constitutional nature.
• Representation of a highway concession company in multiple civil cases related to criminal activities perpetrated by third parties within its concession area.
• Advice in the design, implementation and updating of Crime Prevention Models, as well as in planning and conducting internal investigations.
