Josefa has been an senior associate of our firm since 2021. Between 2021 and 2023, she practiced in the areas of Corporate Law – Mergers & Acquisitions, advising local and foreign clients in corporate and civil matters, merger and acquisition processes, corporate restructuring operations, private investment funds, and civil and commercial contracting, among others.

Since 2023, she has practiced law in the area of Tax, where she has concentrated her work in tax consulting, tax planning and tax reorganizations, both locally and internationally, and in advising clients in audit proceedings before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (Servicio de Impuestos Internos).

• Advice to a multinational telecommunications company in the legal implementation of a joint venture in Chile on a 50/50 ownership basis, and implementation of subsequent changes in its ownership. 
• Advise to a multinational telecommunications company in the division of its Chilean subsidiary, for the purpose of separating its lines of business. 
• Advice to a multinational transportation company in its entry into the Chilean market, adapting its general service contract to Chilean law to be executed with local providers of the services of transport of passengers. 
• Advice to a multinational company in the development of its data centers in Chile, in the negotiation and implementation of lease and construction contracts. 
• Advice to a multinational company in the technology business in the negotiation of the extension of its offices lease agreement.
